  1. Congratulations Tom & Eileen

Tom, Just finished reading the great article in today's Daily Times. You, Eileen, Glenn, Marie, Theresa, Mike, etc., continue to make the Delco Cruisers a force of good will. Merry Christmas!
  2. Birthday wishes

Happy Birthday Marie and Theresa! Hope you can celebrate in A/C on in the pool!
  3. Congrats to Greg Lebold

Thank you everyone, I appreciate the confidence that you have in me...boy are you crazy!! The Borough is looking into something to do with our car club and I'm sure something will be organized soon. The only trouble I see is if we put all the cars in the club together they would fill every street in our tiny little village.
  4. Our VP is on the job

Great job Glenn! I finally got a chance to find the article in the Daily T.

  6. club member assumes mayoral roll

Thanks Tom, Scott sure did leave behind a legacy. He couldn't sit still very long and he'll be missed. Ah yes, the Mayor. Actually this will give me a little less stress as I won't be running the meetings any longer and can speak freely rather than negotiate with the other guys on council. I am optimisticly hoping to be on the road with the vette soon. BTW, Pete would be a good campaign manager, if I wanted to stay in politics. I have 2 years, 9 months to decide. Take care.
  7. Good Meeting!

Enjoyed the meeting (I sound crazy saying that...) with lots to look forward to. Glad to hear that you stuck to your guns with Riddle as well Looking forward to a great season.
  8. One of our own in Daily Times

Wow, thanks so much Marie and Tom, and everyone at the Delco Cruisers for all of your kind words and the encouragement we get from your positive support. Drew is scheduled to return from Iraq in March of 2011 (LESS THAN 2 MONTHS FROM NOW) and is hoping to come home to Rutledge shortly thereafter. Again, thanks for all of your support!
  9. American Pickers & Pawn Stars....who watches?

I've been able to catch American Pickers but haven't seen Pawn Stars. American Pickers has also been contacted to investigate the "collection" of cars, toys, signs, boats, etc. at a privately owned property in Upper Providence.

  11. WINTER PROJECTS

Where can I find the tiles? I would like to have a softer floor for my aging feet..
  12. Master cylinder replacement

Thanks John, I haven't got a new one as yet, just ordered it from Ecklers the other day. I will keep your offer in mind, and really appreciate your offer to help. This is the reason I really enjoy being a member of the Delco Cruisers.
  13. Master cylinder replacement

Thanks Tom, appreciate the offer, which I might take you or John P up on. I just ordered a new master cylinder, so when it comes in I'll be in touch. Thanks again!
  14. Replaced the master cylinder on my 81 vette by a "professional" mechanic. Been driving since with no problems until a few weeks ago - backed her out of the garage and brake light went on steady and brake pedal went to the floor. Haven't done a thing since but need to fix the issue as I am getting tired of looking at the car and not being able to drive it. I've been repeatedly told that it sounds like the master cylinder, but thought I'd check to see if anyone has experienced anything similar and how difficult is it to replace a master cylinder?
  15. Corvette radiator repair

Picked up the vette from Pauls, and was shown the core of the radiator. It amazing that I didn't have trouble while driving, you could barely see any of the openings, which were completely blocked. Glad I had it taken care of. As far as the mechanic issue, whoever they use does good work. Removing the radiator involved removing the hood and just about everything around it. I am very pleased with Pauls. Now the vette is getting a tune-up and inspection at Mantegnas. I'll keep you posted.
