Mike...THANKS for posting that site with the "better off dead" camaro. A '67 RS/SS !!! Custom delux interior.Now I gotta go out and buy the movie to see if it's a big block car. I couldn't see if it had the cross flags with the 396 emblem at the bottom back of the fender. I'm sure I'm gonna cringe when I see the part where there sitting on the fender scratching the paint.I already checked out the website..REALLY cool pics.!!! Only thing the car is missing is the "SS" emblem on the grill...Too much time on my hand.BUT I 'm sure i'll get motivated to get back to work on mine after drooling thru the movie. :D

Didn't Mike Cannon campaign an early vette there for a while???? His brother lives across the street from my parents.

I did break down and buy .."better off dead"...that is one sharp looking '67 camaro... :wub:

Are there any pictures around of the orange one that Ralph Tullie from the speed shop in collingdale. He was running a '69 that had the big block?? That was back in the late '70's early '80's.

I know it not a Camaro but do you remember that nasty Opel, Carminati Granite down in S.W. Phila. had it I think Ben Pilla sponsered that on too it was late 70's early 80's

Yes, I remember both of them. I haven't seen Mark in years. He married a friend of mines sister I don't think it worked out last I heard :huh: That was back in THE DAY :ph34r:

Hey Joe

The Camaro on the bottom left of that front page....it doesnt completey show up on your photo.....Is that the "1/4 Mile High" car? If so, my buddy owns that car and has since 1984. A 427 COPO car. It looks like the same striping on the hood but I cant see the doors in the photo.

Glen, that car in the mag(bottom/left) is Joe Scott's SS/KA sbc convert.

the 1/4 mile high car... Jeff's car?

1/4 mile high car was org dealers toy, non copo but a 396/375 car.

Yep...thats the one....Jeff M. We grew up together two doors apart and are still very good friends. He's like my brother. We still go to carlisle together all the time. He was at the Riddle Show with his 67 SS Impala. Small world...i didnt know you knew him.
