JUST A FEW WORDS FROM THE HEAD TABLE

As we start a new year the first thing we, the board, would like to do is thank all of you who have participated in the club activities. We also would like to thank the outgoing president, Carl Nathans, for his hard work as president. We most certain can’t forget the rest of the board members, whose hours of work kept the club in good stead. Thanks to Ray, Joe s, Gary, and TW. With these people and the current members of the board, we were able to get the club into a good position with many member driven ideas having come to fruition. Lastly but not least, thanks to all the members who participated in this year’s election.

The aim of the new board and myself is to continue running the club with a high degree of club member participation and with some guidance of the board we will move the club along a path of growth, not necessarily more shows or events, but with more activity that will relate to all club members.

We have come up with a few ideas from the board and members that we are attempting to get some dates firmed that should keep the indoor blues to a minimum.

Here are a few of those ideas.
In about three weeks we hope to cruise down to Millville NJ. To the New Jersey Motorsports Park for a little food and fun and just enough smell of grease and oil to keep the boys and girls sane. Hopefully in February we are going to go on an “Oooie Gooie Cruise” to a place in Collingswood NJ. Called the POP SHOP. It has a 50 decorations theme and a menu that includes over 40 different grille cheese sandwiches along with a soda fountain with tons of things to tickle the palate. Then in March we will be returning to the NJMSP for dinner and a track tour.

Some of the other ideas we have working are a drive in movie cruise to, Phillies game cruise to, and a few cruises during the week to some of our sponsors, Coccos and hopefully Zac’s burgers. So enough for this memo HAPPY NEW YEAR AND LETS START CRUISING AND HAVING FUN.
